Green Tip of the Week

Go laptop! If you're ready to replace your computer, make it a laptop. With its LCD flat screen, it will use as much as two-thirds less power than a traditional desktop computer. And if you're upgrading your TV to get ready for the digital age (no more broadcast TV after February 2009), go for an LCD flat-panel rather than plasma, which uses more than twice the energy.
