Still Life with Bombers:
Israel in the Age of Terrorism
DAVID HOROVITZ
Wednesday, May 7, 2008 7:30 p.m.
Beth-El Zedeck, 600 West 70th Street
As part of our community’s celebration in honor of Israel’s 60th anniversary and on the eve of Yom Ha’atzma’ut, David Horovitz will speak on his recent book, Still Life with Bombers: Israel in the Age of Terrorism, which received warm reviews in The New York Times and other papers. A combination of personal accounts and political reporting, Horovitz describes how violence in the Middle East has affected personal life in Israel and the West Bank. Editor of The Jerusalem Post, he has written for The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times.
This program is co-sponsored by The Alan & Linda Cohen Center for Jewish Learning and Living at
Congregation Beth-El Zedeck and the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis.
Copies of his book are available for purchase in Beth-El Zedeck’s Gallery of Judaica
