Beth-El Zedeck offers many opportunities for prayer and
spiritual celebration. Shabbat services are held every Friday at
6:00 p.m. Saturday morning Shabbat services begin at 10:00 a.m.
Worshippers are invited to the Kiddush and Oneg table following
services.
Daily Minyan is held Monday through Friday at 7:30 a.m.,
and Saturdays at 5:45 p.m. Morning Minyan on Sundays (and
secular holidays) is held at 9:00 a.m. Breakfast follows the daily
morning Minyan.
Babysitting (sponsored by Sisterhood) is available
Shabbat mornings from 10:00 a.m. through the end of services. Each
year, several Friday evening services are designated as Shabbat
Family Services, and the first Friday of each month is Birthday
Blessing Shabbat, honoring children with birthdays during that
month. On the third Friday of the month a special blessing of
healing is offered.
Festivals and Holy Days are observed with services and
creative programs that highlight the solemn and joyous aspects of
our yearly cycle. Special children’s programming for pre-school
through High School is an integral part of our High Holy Day
observance.
Worship services are conducted in either our beautiful
Mae and Max Simon Sanctuary or our modern
Kaufman-Schuchman Chapel. The sanctuary has seating for 600,
expanding to seating for 1,800 during the High Holy Days. The Chapel
houses breathtaking stain glass windows and seats approximately
200.
